Namibia Hope and Gorob Development
Hope & Gorob Mine Development Photo Journal (as at 29 May 2026)
Two complementary development programmes underway at the Hope & Gorob Project.
Ore to be mined from the Hope & Gorob mine site with primary crushing and dry ore sorting to produce a copper – gold preconcentrate for haulage to the Tsoaxaub Metals flotation plant to produce a final copper concentrate for shipment via the nearby Walvis Bay deep water terminal

Strategic plan with mined and dry ore sorted preconcentrate hauled to the NLZM (Tsoaxaub Metals) plant for final concentration ahead of shipment to a refinery via Walvis Bay
Mine Site Development
Access & Haulage
- Refurbishment of approximately 100km of haul road completed
- Construction of new mine site access roads on schedule

Construction of dirt road through the Namib Desert connecting the mine site with the C14 highway towards the Tsoaxaub Metals flotation plant

Local Swakopmund-based contractor Oshitenda Business Group managing road reparation

The mine will operate with full-time grader management to maintain haul and access roads

Dry sandy road conditions with an underlying gravel plain provides a good road base for new road construction
Accommodation
- Construction of a mine camp to accommodate up to 100 personnel
- Installation of offices, accommodation, kitchens, laundry and mess hall
- Two-phased with Phase I advanced allowing construction, mining and geological personnel to operate on-site ahead of commissioning

A dawn departure for the first part of the Hope & Gorob mine camp being transported from Swakopmund to the mine site
Modular container units to provide accommodation and office space at the mine site

All design and construction undertaken by local contractor Cowboy’s Trading & Rental Solutions
Mine-Site Infrastructure
- Mining and geology infrastructure to support a 500Ktpa mining and ore sorting operation presently under construction
- Engineering workshops, explosives store, core yard, stores and medical centre

All modular containers to be air-conditioned with reticulation connected to a camp-wide closed system
Mining & Grade Control
- Mine geologists onboarded and developing protocols for grade control
- Planning of step-out drilling for resource expansion
Crusher & Conveyor System
- Completed crusher infrastructure and components being delivered to the mine site for final installation
- Ore sorter under fabrication and on schedule for delivery to site

Tsoaxaub Metals Plant Site
Formerly known as the NLZM plant, the renamed Tsoaxaub Metals Plant is being repurposed and upgraded to process preconcentrate to be delivered from the Hope & Gorob mine site, producing a final copper – gold concentrate for export via the Walvis Bay deepwater terminal.
Repurposing & Upgrade
- Mill upgrade and reconfiguration, installation of additional surge tank capacity, implementation of automation, overhaul and maintenance of float cells

Mill liners stripped from existing mill with new liners ready for installation late June 2026

Overhaul and refurbishment of flotation cells

Flotation cell maintenance
- Expansion of ROM pad to accommodate increased throughput capacity of preconcentrate

ROM pad expansion to accommodate increases in future preconcentrate from Hope & Gorob mine
ROM pad and waste rock dump sites prepared
- Upgrade and modification of the tailings dam
